Smartie Challenge

During the forthcoming week you will find an envelope with a tube of smarties in your child’s drawer. The idea

is that the children get to enjoy the smarties, then between now and 14th June fill the smartie tube with 20p’s

or £1 coins but please no coppers. You will receive more information on the leaflet with your envelope.

Beale Park Trip

We’ve thought about how much fun we had on our previous trip, so we have planned the summer trip. After some discussion we have decided to do a trip to Beale Park on Wednesday 12th June between 10:00am and 2:15pm. This trip is open to every family that attends pre-school, even if your child does not normally attend on a Wednesday. The cost will be £6.00 per child and £6.00 per adult, with under 2’s going free. Please let Synetta know whether your child will be coming and the number of adults accompanying them along with payment no later than Friday 24th May as booking and payment need to be made during half term.

If your child normally attends pre-school on a Wednesday and a family member is unable to accompany them on the trip, please make this clear to Synetta as soon as possible as there are only a limited number of spaces in the staff cars. If we have too many children without an adult accompanying them, we will be forced to cancel the trip.

You can find more information at the Beale Park website.

Warm Weather Clothing

Now that there are some really warm days, we would like to ask that your child comes to pre-school with a sun hat and sun-cream in their bag, having already had an application of sun-cream applied before arrival. A bottle of cold water is essential and a change of clothing as the children take part in a lot of water play. Please remember to clearly label all items of clothing.

Spare Clothing

We are getting increasingly low on our spare clothing. We would like to ask that any items that have gone home are returned. Also, if anyone has any clothes they no longer need, we would be extremely grateful for any donations. We are especially short on boy’s clothes: pants, trousers and t-shirts.
